Arrival

On approaching the Maltese Islands, contact is to be established with Valletta Port Control who will guide the yacht to the visitors berth. The yacht’s registration papers together with passports covering all crew members and passengers must be presented to Customs and Immigration officials at the Administration Building for the necessary pratique. Yachts may only remain on anchor in mid-stream within the Yachting Centre until a specific berth is allotted by the Berthing Master who must be contacted at the Yachting Centre Offices or on VHF channel 9.

Customs Clearance in Gozo
During peak seasons (generally between 1 June and 30 September), yachtsmen entering the Maltese Islands may clear customs in Gozo from the Mgarr Marina. Visiting yachts are advised to approach Pontoon F. Berthing assistants will indicate location of the Customs Office on arrival.
